Silent Sundays:

how exciting! the beautifully stylish rhiannon from liebemarlene vintage has opened an online shop along with her friend jamie hopper, the shop has a mix of some amazing designers- such as secret squirrel and TBA- as well as lots of lovely vintage stuff. they've also created a stunning lookbook with a suitably perfect model.

all images silent sundays.

this whole thing makes me even more excited for a project I'm in the midst of starting up with my very best friend. all will be revealed in due course!

my brother's work has been chosen as one of the architecture entries to take part in the royal academy summer exhibition. the entry has been a real labour of love for him and his colleague, and included a long van journey from edinburgh to london with some very large architectural models, but it paid off! the exhibition runs from june 7 - august 15 and it'll definitely be worth going- as well as the architecture room there will be plenty of art to feast your eyes on. I can't wait for a little day out to london to have a look.

This is the idea behind the burning house:

"If your house was burning, what would you take with you? It's a conflict between what's practical, valuable and sentimental. What you would take reflects your interests, background and priorities. Think of it as an interview condensed into one question."

it's a great idea, and makes for a lovely tumblr. it's so interesting to see the things people really care about.

I really don't know what I would choose, ruby would be top of the list of course! I guess some of my precious books, my laptop, cameras and old photos. what would you choose? If you have some ideas you should go and submit to the blog!

I love reading about other people's beauty regimes, and into the gloss is a great blog for doing just that. I've picked up lots of hints and tips for good beauty buys too.

I think it must be the most powerful and arresting of all colours and I find myself drawn to it recently.
