TIME TO COLLECT:

These collections by kontor kontur please my eyes greatly. This kind of organisation is something I wish was a part of my life. Unfortunately all I have to do is sit in one place for too long and a mess seems to appear around me. It's a problem. These collections are like the visual antidote to my clutter.

POOCHY:

How cool are these custom pet portraits by the very aptly named Kate Pugsley? I would love to get one of Ruby. I find it weird when people have photos of their dogs around their house, but these are really nice and not at all cheesy.

Our exhibition opened today and it was really nice, everything looked great!
Here's a really rubbish photo I took when we were setting up:

I had such a good weekend, hope you did too.

EDIE:

This is an illustration I did of the editors for an upcoming issue of Edie magazine. I'm looking forward to the next issue!

I'm pretty busy at the moment, preparing for an exhibition on Sunday, and looking after our new eight week old kitten Ruby! She is absolutely tiny and unbelievably cute. You know how when women have babies they get 'baby brain' where they don't think straight and do stupid things? I have kitten brain, I almost went out in my slippers yesterday because I was too busy thinking about Ruby and whether she'd be okay on her own! Aww kittens are the best.

HEAVIER THAN LEAD:

I'm taking part in an exhibition which opens on Sunday, along with my lovely friend Hazel Castle, and some other talented people. I'm sure it'll be lots of fun. I don't think any of you are anywhere near Worcester, but if you are, pop along, it's running up until the 22nd of April (my birthday!)

MICHELA HEIM:

I wanted to share with you some work from one of my favourite photographers, the very lovely Michela Heim. I kind of feel like if you could take pictures during dreams, they would look a little like Michela's photography. I wish you could do that by the way. Go and have a look through her flickr stream and see for yourself.

I LOVE SPRING:

Little rays of sunshine are peeping their way out through the clouds around here. Spring brings with it lots of lovely things; sunshine, flowers, Birthdays (mine & my boyfriend), and also lots of pretty clothes!

These are all things I would absolutely love to have in my wardrobe this Spring. I want to wear that maxi dress to a wedding we're going to in May, but it's a little pricey eh? It's got a gorgeous open back too... Sigh. I love everything from Zara right now, and Modcloth have so many nice dresses, but their shipping charges push the price of everything a little out of reach. Obviously it seems I'm a little obsessed with light dusky pink at the moment! And striped t-shirts are a long term love affair (I might've already ordered that one, oops).

1. Striped bag from H&M £19.99
2. Pink trousers from Zara £25.99
3. Floral dress from Topshop £150
4. Coral handbag from Topshop £36
5. Dress from Modcloth $39.99
6. Striped t-shirt from Zara £17.99
7. Blue sandals from Topshop £55

DREAMY INTERIORS:

I like these interior shots by Pia Jane Bijkerk. Soft light, beautiful paintings, slightly battered furniture, and really lovely work spaces, they look like places I would like to be. Right now I'm happy at my own little work space, watching the neighbourhood cats roaming around the garden.

TRIANGLES

1.Triangles quilt 2.Handpainted wood 3.Hermès Fall 2011 4.Brent Hildy  5.Melanie-Mikecz 6. (Ma + Chr)

Triangles seem to be everywhere, and they are so pleasing to my eye. I would love to own that quilt, or even better, make one myself. I need to improve my sewing skills drastically before I can undertake a project like that though!

Anyway, so I just moved house and now I'm getting settled into my new home. It's really lovely, wooden floors, and very light and sunny. I might take a few photos to show you soon. I took a whole roll of black and white film, sent it off to be developed and it came back totally blank :( so disappointing. I don't know what happened. Ah well I'll put another roll in soon and try again.

In the mean time here's a drawing I did recently, hope you like it.
